Explore Warinanco Park
Find trails and paths around the 205-acre park. Walk, bike or run while you take in the views of lakes, ponds, rivers, streams and beautiful trees. Then meet up with friends at one of the picnic areas for a al fresco meal. Be sure to walk around Chatfield Garden while you’re exploring the park. Originally home to more than 14,000 tulips, the garden now has a variety of flowering plants that last throughout the summer.
Pedal Around at the Boathouse
While the weather is still nice, head over to the boathouse to rent a pedal boat. Pedal around the lake with three of your friends. Then stop by the Snack Bar for a refreshing drink and quick snack before heading to the sports center.
Warinanco Sports Center
The Warinanco Sports Center is newly renovated. It now features spaces for meeting/event space and an ice skating rink that transforms into a turf field for the spring and summer. You’ll also find a variety of athletic courts and fields around the park. Enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, soccer, handball, cricket, tennis, football, and track and field.
Grab a Bite
Don’t miss a meal while you’re at Warinanco Park. The Warinanco Café offers lunch, dinner and of course snacks. Choose from American and Latin inspired dishes. Try the Columbian Picado or Pulled Pork sandwich. They’ll even cater your event at Warinanco Park.
