Union County is brimming with nature, trails, bodies of water & greenery in the form of some amazing parks.

One advantage to living at The Park Apartments is that you live at a park! Right out of your front door is a 20-acre park with lush green space, benches and 3.5 miles of walking/running trails.

If you want to venture outside of The Park for other parks, the list of little to big parks in the county is endless, but we thought we would breakdown a few of the unique ones, all within driving distance:

Watchung Reservation in Mountainside, NJ has a 6-mile history trail and can be accessed from the Trailside Nature and Science Center. The nature and science center has an abundance of activities, trails, a pool, a stable, an ice skating rink, golf and more!

For a unique garden experience, you have to visit Rutgers Garden of Master Gardeners of Union County, which is also located in Mountainside, NJ. There is tons to explore here, like the herb garden, horticultural therapy, and the sharing garden.

Ponderosa Park in Scotch Plains, NJ is a kid’s oasis. Think jungle gym, a water park and children having the times of their lives! It is a great place for kid-friendly activities.

These are only the tip of the park iceberg in Union County. Come see our park at The Park Apartments for a taste of the park oasis that is Union County.
